Errata

Abstract

The first paragraph of the Discussion should read:

"BZD and DAT were predicted to be mutagenic for both strains TA98 and TA100 while CDA and DAB were predicted to be non-mutagenic in these strains. This is similar to the overall evaluation of the Second UKEMS Collaborative Study (Parry et al., 1985). The latter found that in Salmonella (strain TA1538 which for the purpose of this discussion is taken to be similar to TA98) (Ames et al., 1975), both BZD and DAT were mutagenic. CDA was non-mutagenic, while DAB was difficult..."
